Edward “Ed” McKenzie, 62, of Delphi, passed away on January 21, 2015 in IU Arnett Hospital, Lafayette, IN.
Born November 15, 1952 in Logansport, he was the son of the late Loring Floyd "Mac" and Ann (McCrosky) McKenzie.
Edward was a heavy equipment operator for local union #103. He served in the United States Army and is a Veteran of the Vietnam War. Ed enjoyed being outside. He loved camping and working on cars. Ed was the true definition of a handyman.
Surviving is daughter, Sky McKenzie, Delphi, IN; four sons, Brock McKenzie, Lafayette, IN; Brent (Dawn) McKenzie, Lafayette, IN; Kody McKenzie, Galveston, IN; Kolton McKenzie, Burnettsville, IN; four grandchildren, Toni McKenzie, Reece McKenzie Ryleigh McKenzie, Maxwell McKenzie; and one sister, Dianna L. (LeRoy) Barr, Cedar City, UT.
One son, Bryan David McKenzie, preceded in death.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 1:00PM at Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Dean Snyder Officiating.
Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service.
