Services for Alvin Lee Fry, 89, Logansport, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in Gundrum Funeral Home.
He died at 4:05 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2007, in his residence.
Born Nov. 5, 1918, in Fulton, he was the son of Dorcie and Verna Gault Fry. He was married April 25, 1936, in Royal Center, to Willmira Dewitt, who preceded in death Dec. 29, 1987.
Alvin retired from Rockwell International.
He was a member of Riverview Wesleyan Church. Alvin was a former Sunday school teacher and church board member.
Surviving are daughters, Nada Rouch, and Mary L. âBonnieâ Hile and husband, Vernon, all of Logansport, Joyce Rentschler and husband, Phil, Macy, and Juanita J. Stanton and husband, Paul, Walton; son, Alvin Fry Jr. and wife, Sandra, Kewanna; sister, Virginia Dodrill and husband, John, Knightstown; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
One daughter, three grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, two sisters, five brothers and one son-in-law, preceded in death.
The Rev. Brooks Sayer will officiate. Burial, with full military graveside rites, will be in Bell Center Cemetery, Bell Center.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
