Anita “Delight” Conn, 84, of Logansport, passed away, Thursday, October 24, 2024, at Millers Merry Manor. She was born October 24, 1940, in Logansport to Albert M. and Wilda A. (Davidson) Rodgers. She married Phillip Richard Conn on September 1, 1964, at Bethlehem Presbyterian Church, and he survives.
Delight worked as a Nurse’s Aide at Memorial Hospital. She grew up at Bethlehem Presbyterian Church and attended Trinity Lutheran Church. She was active in Bible studies, was a board member of Weekday Religious Education, and participated and served in Logansport Great Banquet. She enjoyed traveling to visit family and friends, doing puzzles, and gardening.
Along with her husband of 60 years, Delight is survived by her son, John (Jana) Conn of Burlington; daughter, Edith (Ryan) Gage of Eureka, SD; brother, William (Lynne) Rodgers of Kokomo; grandchildren, Cameron Conn, Amanda Gage, Rachel Gage and Rebekah (Christian) Siegfried; and a sister-in-law, Pat Rodgers.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Milton D. Rodgers.
Visitation will be held, Wednesday, October 30, 2024, from 4-7pm at Gundrum Funeral Home and 10-11am Thursday, October 31, 2024, at Bethlehem Presbyterian Church. The funeral service will be held at 11am Thursday, October 31 at the Bethlehem Presbyterian Church. Pastor David J. Smith will officiate. Burial will follow at Shideler Cemetery.
