Services for Arthur L. McFatridge Sr., 79, Logansport, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in Gundrum Funeral Home.
He died at 10:27 p.m. Sunday, March 16, 2008, in Home Hospital, Lafayette.
Born March 22, 1928, in Logansport, he was the son of Ira Lewis and Ethel Maude Campbell McFatridge. He was married Sept. 2, 1967, in Logansport, to Oneta L. Erwin, who survives.
He retired in 1990 from Delco Electronics after 25 years of service, and he was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Also surviving are sons, Wayne McFatridge and wife, Gina, Logansport, Steve McFatridge and wife, Sally, California, Arthur McFatridge Jr. and wife, Marie, Alabama, and Mitch McFatridge and wife, Cathy, Illinois; daughters, Vicky Doll, Cincinnati, Ohio, and Janice Moser and husband, Tom, Arkansas; brother, Charles McFatridge and wife, Roseanne, Camden; sister, Vera Larimore and husband, Junior, Galveston; 14 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one son, Kevin Ira McFatridge, and four brothers, Virgil, Tom, Robert and William McFatridge.
Dr. Horace Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery, Deer Creek.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
