Barbara Dingeldein

Barbara A. Dingeldein, 82, of Logansport, passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at Memorial Hospital in Logansport.

Born on May 5, 1939, in Logansport, Barbara is the daughter to the late Wilbur G. “Bud” Davis and Frances (Jones) Davis-Meyer. On August 5, 1960, in Logansport, she married Jerry L. Dingeldein who preceded in death on November 7, 2014.

Barb was a 1957 graduate of Logansport High School and worked as a Librarian at Lincoln Middle School. Barb received her Master’s Degree in education from Ball State University.

Surviving her is a daughter, Wendy Waltz; grandson, Mavrick Waltz, both of Logansport; brother, Brad (Jaynie) Davis of Indianapolis; sister, Susie L. (Richie) Cox of Logansport; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Barbara was preceded in death by a son, Robbie Dingeldein.

A celebration of life will be held at 4:00 PM on Monday, November 8, 2021 at Gundrum Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. Aaron Gross officiating.  A private burial will be held at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Logansport.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM on Monday, also in the funeral home.
