Barbara L. Early, 90, of Logansport, passed away on Sunday, January 20, 2019 in Millers Merry Manor, Logansport.
Born on May 30, 1928 in Gas City, IN, she was the daughter to the late Walter and Lillian Opal (Gillespie) Best.
On July 25, 1948 in Clymers, IN Barbara married Paul Dillman Jr. who preceded in death on January 28, 1967. Then on October 24, 1980 in Clymers, IN Barbara married Richard “Dick” David Early who preceded in death April 2, 2002.
Barbara was a graduate of Logansport High School. She worked as a legal secretary for Hannah, Small, Sabatini and Becker Law Firm. She was a member of Clymer’s United Methodist Church, Cass County Extension Homemakers, 40 40 Club, Red Cross and Euchre Queens.
Survivors include daughter, Lori (Gavin) Vizcarra, Logansport; Son, Joseph Dillman, Logansport; two step-sons, Mark Early, Kewanna, IN; Marty Early, Montpelier, IN; step-daughter, Debra (Andy) Curtis, Fulton, IN; twenty two grandchildren, Ian (Adrienne) Eskildsen, Derick Hall, Evan Vizcarra, Paul Dillman, Joey Dillman, Christina (Justin) Powers, Virginist (Jeff) Westafer, Kevin (Stephanie) Early, Sarah (Nickolas) Overmyer, Daniel (Kristin) Curtis, Steven (Liz) Curtis, Jenifer (Adam) Tripolone, Jamie Early, Chad (Courtney) Early, Tucker Early, Molly Early, Melissa Early, Dusty Early, Nicklas (Amy) Early, Katie Early, Brian (Jill) Early, Abby (Ryan) Wagler; twenty-six great grandchildren and one brother Jack (Judy) Best, Logansport.
Barbara was preceded in death by two brothers, Art (Mary) Best and Willis (Jane) Best, one sister, Jean (Phillip) McArthy.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday January 26, 2019 in Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Nick Robinson officiating. A private burial will be held in St. Johns Cemetery, Logansport.
Visitation will be from 1 until time of services on Saturday at Gundrum Funeral Home.
Memorials, in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cross Wind United Methodist Church or the Cass County Domestic Violence Task Force.
