Barbara Valdez

Barbara Sue Valdez, 51, of Logansport, passed away Sunday, August 24, 2014 at 5:55 AM at Caring Hands Healthcare in Peru.

Born March 26, 1963 in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late Glenn and Patricia Mae (Gilbert) Gaddis.

She was a heavy equipment operator and road construction worker for the Operating Engineers Local # 103.
Barbara was a member of the Local #103 Operating Engineers and Royal Center United Methodist Church.

Surviving is one son, Nik Gaddis, Peru; daughter, Brandi Riley, Logansport; brother, Glenn "Dale" (Tina) Gaddis, Royal Center; four grandchildren.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday August 29, 2014 from 3:00 - 5:00 PM at the Royal Center United Methodist Church Family Life Center located at 204 S. Market Street in Royal Center.

A private burial will be held at a later date in Ever-Rest Memorial Park, Logansport.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family to help with expenses.
