Bernard Stocks

Bernard L. Stocks, 86 of Logansport, passed away Thursday, October 5, 2017 in the Arbor by Miller’s Merry Manor in Logansport.

Born on January 28, 1931 in Logansport, he was the son of the late John and Loraine Lillian (Raver) Stocks.  On October 24, 1958 in Lafayette, Indiana he married Anna Mae Blackwell who preceded in death on October 2, 2002.

Bernard retired in 1996 from LMU where he worked in the sewage plant. He was a Navy Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict and a member of the V.F.W. Post 3790.

Surviving are two nieces, Jamie (Jeff) DuBois, Logansport; Becky Blackwell, Lebanon, MO; half-brother, Francis (Carrie) Daine, Satellite Beach, FL; half-sister, Janet Hobson, Bloomington, IN; several other nieces and nephews.

One sister preceded him in death.

A private graveside service will be held in the Davis Cemetery, Burnettsville with Pastor Jeff Timmons officiating.
