Betty Lou Roller, 78, Logansport, died at 3:02 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2011, at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis.
Born March 1, 1933, in Cass County, she was the daughter of Orville and Mary Elsie Downhour Sylvester. She was married June 9, 1956, in Young America to Donald Dale Roller, who preceded in death Sept. 28, 1987.
Betty retired from Kauffman Engineering, and she was also a former receptionist for Dr. Meister.
She was a member of First Assembly of God Church. Betty enjoyed reading, NASCAR and spending time with her family.
Surviving are daughters, Lola Shaffer and husband, Maverick, Lori Ellison and husband, Jerry, and Lisa Campbell and husband, Mitcheal, all of Logansport; stepson, Joseph Roller and wife, Mary Ellen, Logansport; brother, Jim Sylvester and wife, Mary, Logansport; stepbrother, William Gushwa, Mishawaka; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at First Assembly of God Church, 831 Burlington Ave., Logansport, with Pastor Andy Weil officiating.
Burial will be in Ever-Rest Memorial Park.
Friends may call from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Gundrum Funeral Home and one hour before services Monday at the church.
