Services for Betty Lou Saunders, 60, Logansport, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 1, 2008 in the Gundrum Funeral Home.
She died at 8:20 p.m. Thursday, June 26, 2008, at St. Vincent Heart Center of Indiana in Indianapolis.
Born April 10, 1948, in Rochester, she was the daughter of William Ira and Mary Alice Warner Nickels
She was married on Nov. 3, 1978, in Logansport to Boyd M. Saunders, who preceded in death on March 4, 2004.
Mrs. Saunders worked as an assembler for Total Electronics, formerly Controls. She enjoyed doing word searches, attending family gatherings and watching John Wayne movies. She always loved spending time with her grandchildren and playing with her German shepherd, Krystal.
Survivors include two daughters, Tina Bellar, Logansport, and Virginia Ransom, South Bend; two sons, James âAllenâ Bellar and wife, Shanna, Peru, and Billy Wilson, Elkhart, grandsons James D. Bellar, Mexico, Jhonathan R. Bellar, Peru, and Adam K. Ransom, South Bend; granddaughters Kathrine N. Bellar, Peru, and Tala S. E. Ransom, South Bend; and sisters Donna Tyre, Delores Titus, both of Peru, Janette Tow, Bonnie Miller and Wanda Sue Nickels, all of Logansport.
Two brothers and two sisters also preceded in death.
Pastor Dave Jodry will officiate the services. Burial will follow at Ever-Rest Memorial Park.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
