Betty Stine

Betty L. Stine, 88, Logansport, died at 3:25 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012, at Logansport Memorial Hospital.

Betty was born Aug. 27, 1924, in Delphi to Sylvester Sales and Violet Jeffers. She was married Feb. 22, 1943, in Hammond to Lloyd H. Stine, who preceded her in death July 20, 1994.

Betty was a homemaker. She was a member of Four Square Gospel Church. Betty lived her life for her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Survivors include a daughter, Beth Ann Gleason and husband Scott, Tulsa, Okla.; a son, Lloyd “Rusty” H. Stine II, Logansport; one sister, Norma Sheagley, Corona, Calif.; five grandchildren, Rhythm Hartman and husband Raymond, Patience Cottrell and husband Bobby, Mark Stine, Harmony Newman and husband Anthony, and Cherish Stine; 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of Betty’s life will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Four Square Gospel Church, 3025 Maplewood Drive in Logansport, with Pastor Sharol Eaker officiating. Burial will be in Ever-Rest Memorial Park, Logansport.

There will be no visitation.
