Billy Estes

Billy S. Estes, 78, of Logansport, passed away Monday June 18, 2018 in Franciscan Health East of Lafayette, IN.

Born July 29, 1939 in Furnace, Kentucky he was the son of the late Price and Ida (Rogers) Estes. In 1961 he married Sandra Hinderlider who preceded in death, on November 27, 1992 in Las Vegas, Nevada he married Alice A. Bruce who preceded in death on April 4, 2016.

Billy retired from Exide Battery. He was a former member of Eagles Lodge #323 and enjoyed traveling.

Survivors include one daughter, Diane Hastings, Logansport; one son, Bryan Estes; two sisters, Faye (Jerry) Patten, Logansport; Evelene Franklin, Logansport; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

One sister, Allene Moore, preceded in death.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4-6 pm Friday, June 22, 2018 at the Gundrum Funeral Home. A private burial will be held at the Indian Creek Christian Cemetery near Lucerne.
