Memorial services for Billy Wayne White, 59, Logansport, are 1 p.m. Monday in Gundrum Funeral Home.
He died at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, March 5, 2009, in his residence.
Born May 8, 1949, in Byltheville, Ark., he was the son of Kenneth Lee White and Opal Pauline Rose. He was married Sept. 11, 2004, in Peru, to Angela L. Miller, who survives.
He was a retired truck driver for Carter Lumber Company of Kokomo and Midland Lumber of Peru. He enjoyed fishing, camping, NASCAR and cookouts.
Also surviving are daughters, Amy Spampinato, Logansport, Kelly Poindexter, North Manchester, and Kari Poindexter, Peru; sons, Steven Spampinato, Logansport, Derek Poindexter, Ohio, Chris Poindexter, Indianapolis, and Kenny Poindexter, Indianapolis; sister, Pauline Lueth, Wabash; brother, Vern White, Michigan; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
One sister, Tina Winnie; and one brother, Chuck White, preceded in death.
Pastor Tim Berlin will officiate.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family for the benefit of the grandchildren.
