Blake Alan Callaway, 24 of Logansport, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Indiana University Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born on May 6, 1992 in Logansport, Blake is the son of Kevin and Bobbi (Spencer) Callaway. Blake worked for E&B Paving and Carter Fuel Systems, he enjoyed his job and the people who he worked with.
Blake was a diehard IU Basketball fan. He enjoyed hunting and fishing but most of all, he loved Duramax diesel trucks and Ford Mustangs. Blake was expecting the birth of his son, Jace Alan Cole Callaway, and was excited to start his family with his fiancé Levia “Hope” Justice and her daughter Laina Yoder.
Surviving along with his parents, Kevin and Bobbi; his Fiancé, Levia "Hope" Justice and her daughter Laina Yoder are his maternal grandmother, Edna Spencer; paternal grandparents, Frank (Linda) Callaway; brother, Matt (Erica) Callaway; two sisters, Malinda Callaway; Kaleigh Callaway; uncles, Kelly (Teresa) Spencer; Mike (Sherry) Spencer; Steve (Julie) Callaway; Chris (Sami) Callaway, all of Logansport; aunts, Tammy Primmer, New Port Richie, FL; Toni (Don) Seward; Susie (John) Gibson, all of Logansport; Lori (Bill) Rhodes, Lake Cicott, IN; nieces, Alaina & Kinley Callaway; nephew, Bryson Callaway; close cousins, Steven and Mikel Seward, several other cousins; and his canine companion "Hoosier".
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Bobby Spencer and great grandmother, Mary McAninch.
A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday June 18, 2016 at Life
Gate Church in Logansport with Kelly and Mike Spencer officiating. Burial will follow in Ever-Rest Memorial Park in Logansport.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of service on Saturday, also in the church.
Memorials contributions may be made to the family, they will be starting a trust fund for Blake's unborn son, Jace Alan Cole Callaway.
