Blanche I. Schreyer

Graveside services for Blanche I. Schreyer, 93, Logansport, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bethel Cemetery.

She died at 7:21 a.m. Monday, March 19, 2007, in Chase Center.

Born April 13, 1913, in Lone Oak, Texas, she was the daughter of Mancil and Edna Smith Babb. She was married Aug. 5, 1960, in Texas, to Karl “Bud” F. Schreyer, who preceded in death Nov. 10, 2006.

Blanche retired in 1968 as a teacher.

Surviving are one brother, Edwin Babb, Commerce, Texas; three sisters-in-law, Edna L. Zimmerman, Dorothy May Hults and husband, Edsel, and Mary E. Powell, all of Logansport; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Two brothers preceded in death.

The Rev. William Art Maloney will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery, Logansport.

There will be no visitation.

Gundrum Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
