Bonnie Lou (Cotner) Baker Chancellor, 96 of Logansport, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2022, at Woodbridge Health Campus.
Born on October 20, 1926, in Logansport; Bonnie is the daughter of the late Frank Allen and Dorothy (Cartmell) Cotner. On June 16, 1945, Bonnie married William Keesey Baker. Bonnie became a wife and mother plus a helping hand to her beloved husband for 46 years. For a city girl, she embraced the farm life by keeping farm records, gardening, raising chickens, canning, and sewing. Her husband William Keesey Baker passed away on January 24, 1992.
On May 8, 1993, Bonnie married James Chancellor who preceded in death on March 26, 1998.
Bonnie was a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church, who loved the Lord and rests with him in heaven. She also served as an Elder of the Church. She enjoyed keeping her home, cross stitching, gardening, and reading. Bonnie served as Harrison Township Trustee. She loved her family, friends, and neighbors.
Bonnie is survived by her devoted children, Colleen Sue (William) Jacoby of Estero, FL; Carol Jo (Mark) Potrzebowski of Westville, IN; and Michael Keesey (Julie) Baker of Logansport, IN; eight grandchildren, Jennifer Jacoby, William (Wendy) Jacoby, Heather (Jim) McGrath, Heidi (Brian) Biggs, Mark (Karissa Taylor) Potrzebowski, Ryan (Rachel) Baker, Shawn (Ashley) Baker and Brent (Shelby) Baker. Bonnie was blessed with 22 great grandchildren, Caleb Campbell, Katelyn Campbell, Darby McGrath, Delaney McGrath, Daniel McGrath, Drew McGrath, Joshua Jacoby, Mikayla Jacoby, Savannah Jacoby, Allison Jacoby, Emily Biggs, Zoe Biggs, Olivia Bonnie Biggs, Ava Biggs, Lincoln Baker, Isla Baker, Ethan Baker, Leela Baker, Amelia Baker, Margaret Potrzebowski, Eleanor Potrzebowski and Abigail Taylor.
A private Christian burial for family will be held at Gundrum Funeral Home, internment will be held in the Mount Hope Cemetery, Logansport.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Calvary Presbyterian Church in Logansport.
