Bruce Dewitt

Memorial services for Bruce Allen DeWitt, 40, Logansport, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Gundrum Funeral Home.

He died at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2008, in Indiana University Medical Center, Indianapolis.

Born Sept. 20, 1968, in Logansport, he was the son of Gilbert and Judith Geisler DeWitt.

Bruce enjoyed reading and was a big Cubs and Bears fan.

Surviving are his parents, Gilbert and Judy DeWitt, Logansport; sister, Sue Walker, Logansport; brothers, Brian DeWitt and wife, Kathy, Bradley DeWitt, and Derrick DeWitt, all of Logansport; half-sister, Keneta Pearson, Leesburg, Fla.; three nieces; and four nephews.

The Rev. Jeff Ropp will officiate. Burial will be in Idaville Cemetery, Idaville.

Friends may call one hour before services Saturday at the funeral home.
