Burma L. Spencer, 69, Logansport, died at 12:15 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 15, 2010, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

She was born June 22, 1941, in Rural, Ky., the daughter of Emery and Madeline E. Mansfield Forrest. She was married Aug. 15, 1981, in Logansport to Ed Spencer, who preceded in death on Nov. 28, 2007.

She formerly worked for T.M. Morris Manufacturing.

She was a member of the Eagles Lodge 323 Ladies Auxiliary. She also enjoyed playing bingo and watching Purdue basketball.

Survivors include two daughters, Teressa Basile and husband, Chris, LaPorte, and Patty Lock, Logansport; a son, Donny Mackroy, Indiana; a stepson, Harrold Spencer and companion, Shari, Mansfield; a stepdaughter, Gail Weiand and husband, Don, Lakeland, Fla.; a sister, Norma Williams and husband, Glenn, Fort Wayne; a brother, Donny Forrest, Tennessee; four grandchildren, Nicole Smith, LaPorte, Jason Smith, LaPorte, Joshua Lock, Logansport, and Julie White, Madison, Wis.; six stepgrandchildren, Shawn Jones and wife, Tami, Royal Center, Tricia Swartzell and husband, Brad, Royal Center, Tina DeVore and husband, David, Macomb, Mich., Shane Weiand and wife, Tammy, Lakeland, Fla., Shawn Weiand, Lakeland, Fla., and Kami Newberry and husband, Keith, Lakeland, Fla.; several great-grandchildren; several stepgreat-grandchildren; and several stepgreat-great-grandchildren One Son, Tony Toluson, preceded in death.

Services will be at 1 P.M. Thursday in Gundrum Funeral Home, with Dr. Horace Smith officiating. Burial will be in Ever-Rest Memorial Park.

Visitation will be 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. Thursday aty Gundrum Funeral Home.
