Carla J. ( VanVoorst) Griggs, 55, Logansport, Passed away at 7:25PM on Monday, May 19, 2014 in St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis, IN.
Born August 13, 1958 in Monticello, IN, she was the daughter to Patsy Floyd VanVoorst and the late Jerry P. VanVoorst.
Carla was married in Logansport on August 13, 1999 to Richard L. Griggs.
She worked in Medical Records for Raj Clinics.
Survivors include husband, Richard L. Griggs, Logansport; mother, Patsy VanVoorst, Monon; daughter, Vanessa Stone, Logansport; son, Justin Deweese, Logansport; sister, Terri (Todd) Piercefield, Logansport; Aunt, Betty DeVault, and six grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be at 1:00PM on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at Helm Street Church of God in Logansport with Rev. Dean Snyder officiating. A visitation will be held from 10:00AM until the time of the service at the Church.
A private burial will be held at the Monon Chapel Cemetery, Monon, IN.
