Carol Conrad

Carol R. Conrad, 61, Twelve Mile, died at 10:10 p.m. Monday, Nov. 9, 2009, in her residence.

Born April 22, 1948, in Logansport, she was the daughter of William R. Adams and Helen L. Springer. She was married Dec. 13, 1968, in Rochester, to L.D. Conrad, who survives.

Carol retired from the Department of Child Welfare as a case manager in Miami County.

Surviving are her husband, L.D. Conrad, Twelve Mile; son, Jason Conrad, Twelve Mile, daughter, Jennifer Conrad, Twelve Mile, and son, Jon Conrad and wife Tara, Twelve Mile; granddaughter, Amber Huddleston, Logansport, granddaughters, Baranda and Carah Huddleston, Twelve Mile; grandsons, Isaiah, Zachorie and Kaleb Conrad, all of Twelve Mile; great-grandson, Grant Yadon, Logansport; great-granddaughter, Shaylei Yadon, Logansport; father-in-law, Weldon “Pete” Conrad, Logansport; sister, Jennie Martin, Galveston; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Bill Adams; and mother-in-law, Betty Pearl Conrad.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Teri White officiating.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
