Carol Lynn Pfeiffer, 68, of Logansport, passed away peacefully February 5, 2020, at her home with her family by her side, after a short stay in St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.
She was born in Logansport on December 27, 1951 to the late Virgil W. and Mary (Scagnoli) Arvin. On April 1, 1989 she married Steve Pfeiffer who survives.
Carol graduated from Logansport High School and retired from the Logansport School Corporation a couple of years ago. Carol enjoyed working in her big yard planting flowers, trees, and pumpkins. She was a loving mother, wife, daughter and sister. She always enjoyed making the best chocolate chip cookies for her family and friends, but what will be missed most of all is her kind and loving sense of humor. What she cherished as her greatest accomplishment was her and Steve’s daughter and son, Jenna and Joel. Her role as a mother was the one which gave her the most joy in life, and she couldn’t have been prouder of the young, responsible adults they have become. She made lasting friendships easily. Carol also loved her animals, especially her cats and dogs.
Survivors include her husband Steve; one daughter Jenna Pfeiffer, Carmel, IN; Son, Joel (Erin) Pfeiffer, USAF Utah; one grandson, Owen Brook Pfeiffer, born on Feb. 5, 2020; one sister, Judy (Milo) Bonnell, Winamac, IN; two brothers, Jim (Jan) Arvin, OH; Tom Arvin; Delphi, IN; brother in law, Jeff Pfeiffer, Logansport, IN; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by one brother, John Robert Arvin
A celebration of life will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday February 8, 2020 in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Rev. Aaron Gross officiating. Burial will be in the Bethel Cemetery, Logansport.
The family will receive visitors from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, February 7, 2020 at the Gundrum Funeral Home and an hour prior to the funeral on Saturday.
