Services for Caroline Bertha Whybrew, 89, Logansport, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Gundrum Funeral Home.
She died at 9:20 a.m. Monday, June 29, 2009, in Indiana University Medical Center, Indianapolis.
Born Jan. 19, 1920, in Peru, she was the daughter of Russell and Mabel Kile Moon. She was married Nov. 14, 1981, in Logansport, to Emerson Eugene Whybrew, who preceded in death April 9, 2008.
Caroline was a homemaker.
She was a life member of the VFW Post 3790 Ladies Auxiliary.
Surviving are children, David L. See, Denver, Russell W. See and wife, Phyllis, Andover, Ill., Roberta J. Smith, Wabash, Ron See and wife, Marla, Peru, Jackie S. Fultz, Logansport, William Whybrew and wife, Carol, Peru, and Deborah Williams and husband, Bob, DeRuyter, N.Y.; sister, Jean Hahn, Peru; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.
Pastor Butch Sparling will officiate. Burial will be in Ever-Rest Memorial Park.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home, where the VFW Ladies Auxiliary will conduct a service at 6 p.m.
Memorials may be made to the Diabetes Association, Leukemia Foundation or American Cancer Society.
