Carolyn Graves

Services for Carolyn C. Graves, 71, Logansport, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Gundrum Funeral Home.

She died at 5:07 a.m. Wednesday, March 26, 2008, in her daughter’s residence near Onward.

Born Sept. 26, 1936, in Logansport, she was the daughter of Arthur and Catherine Ray Copeland. She was married May 9, 1954, in Logansport, to Lysle Junior Graves, who survives.

Carolyn retired from Motion Controls in 1995 after 14 years of service. She had also worked at the H.W. Gossard Company.

She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are daughters, Donna Taylor and husband, Donald, Walton, and Anita Cain and husband, Eric, Logansport; brother, Robert Copeland, Missouri; sister, Marilyn Theisen, Minnesota; five grandchildren, Heather, Jessica, Joshua, Caleb and Shaylen; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Linda Jo Graves, and two brothers, Danny and Donald Copeland.

Pastor Jerry Moore will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Ever-Rest Memorial Park.

Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
