Carolyn Sue Kinnaman, 73, Logansport, died at 12:45 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2012, at St. Elizabeth East, Lafayette.
Born Dec. 9, 1938, in Cass County, she was the daughter of Paul E. Shanks and Martha L. Yocum. She was married June 10, 1956, in Logansport, to James Arthur Kinnaman.
Carolyn retired in 1998 after 30 years working in the display department at Sears.
She was a member of Cross-Wind United Methodist Church and Logansport High School Music Boosters. Carolyn was a 1956 graduate of Logansport High School.
Surviving are her husband, James Arthur Kinnaman, Logansport; sons, Ron Kinnaman and wife, Mendie, Logansport, Brian Kinnaman and wife, Linda, Middlesboro, Ky., and Eric Kinnaman and wife, Andrea, Pace, Fla.; sister, Jane Selvio, Noblesville; stepbrother, John Dean, Peru; four granddaughters, Brittany, Jacqueline, Paige and Erica Kinnaman; two grandsons, Connor and Cooper Kinnaman; stepgrandson, Cory Giberson; sister-in-law, Pennie Savage and husband, Steve, Owasso, Okla.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Paula Powlen.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Gundrum Funeral Home with Dr. George Plasterer officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
Friends may call from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
