Catherine Sturgeon

Catherine L. Sturgeon, 72, of Logansport, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2013 at St. Vincent Hospice Hospice in Indianapolis.

Born, August 11, 1941 in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late James L. and Dorothy (Dodrill) Bodell. On May 10, 1959 in Logansport she married George Sturgeon who preceded her in death on June 29, 2012.

Catherine was a former employee of the H.W. Gossard Company and Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Surviving her is one daughter, Deb Hyman (Dave Somers), Stone Lake, WI; son, William A. (Roberta) Sturgeon, Logansport; sister, Marie Rush, Rochester; brother, William Bodell, Logansport; sister in law, Margaret Bodell, Logansport; six grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Martha Alice Bodell, and one brother, James Bodell.
