Services for Charles F. McFatridge, 88, Logansport, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Gundrum Funeral Home.

He died at 1:16 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, 2008, in his residence.

Born Jan. 4, 1920, in Deer Creek, he was the son of Ira Lewis and Ethel Maude Campbell McFatridge. He was married Sept. 30, 1943, in Cass County, to Rosanna Sink, who survives.

He retired as an electrician and farmer.

He was a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church and Eagles Lodge 323. Charles enjoyed fishing, gardening and coon hunting.

Also surviving are daughters, Donna Rikard and husband, Randy, Walton, and Debra Maddox and husband, Chuck, Valparaiso; sister, Vera Larimore and husband, Junior, Galveston; grandson, Jeff Beeman and wife, Blanche, Logansport; several stepgrandchildren; great-grandson, Matthew Beeman; several stepgreat-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by five brothers, Jim, Tom, Bill, Bob and Art McFatridge, and one sister, Dorothy McFatridge.

The Rev. Doug Mankell will officiate. Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery, Deer Creek.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Southern Care Hospice of Kokomo.
