Charlotte J. Leffert, 94, of Logansport, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2015 in her residence.

She was born on July 29, 1920 in Logansport to the late Dennis E. and Roberta (Oilar) Hildebran.  On January 3, 1940 in Logansport she married Maurice H. "Shorty" Leffert who preceded in death on June 7, 2003.

Charlotte was a homemaker, she had also worked at J.C. Penny.

Charlotte enjoyed going to the former Eagles Lodge, playing euchre and dancing. She was a member of several card clubs, enjoyed big meals and spending time with her family.

Survivors include three sons, Keith A. (Dixie) Leffert; Larry M. (Mary) Leffert; Kenneth L. (Debra) Leffert, all of Logansport; sister, Joan Ticen, Virginia; ten grandchildren, Lori (Brad) Myers, Leo, IN; Troy (Holly) Leffert; Clark (Michelle) Leffert, Carmen Leffert, all of Logansport; Brandi (Kevin) Gorak; Staci (Brian) Slagle, both of Fishers; Brooke (Chad) Jones, Kokomo; Tammy (Donnie) Dowell, Walton; Rick (Wendy) Grant, Noblesville; Tina (Brian) Klepinger, Carmel; twenty five great grandchildren; and ten great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Linda Grant, and one sister, Lavone Rubiano.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 14 in the Gundrum Funeral Home with  Pastor Dean Snyder officiating. Burial will be in the Rock Creek Cemetery, Logansport.

Visitation will be held from Noon until the time of service on Saturday.
