Chloie Feltis

Chloie Mae Feltis, 92, of Logansport, passed away Saturday January 28, 2017 in St. Vincent Hospital, Kokomo, IN.

Born December 3, 1924 in Cass County, she was the daughter to the late Calvin and Alta (Gaumer) Sherman.

On December 31, 1946 in Lexington, KY she married Jay F. Feltis who preceded in death November 22, 1987.

Chloie retired from Alpha Industries where she was a tool and die maker. She was a member of V.F.W. Post#3790 Auxiliary, Moose Lodge #232 Auxiliary and former member of the Eagles Lodge #323 Auxiliary.

Surviving are two sons, Scott E. Feltis. Logansport; Kenneth J. (Linda) Feltis, Walton, IN; daughter, Annette Bunger, Logansport; brother, Dwight Sherman, Logansport; six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, six step great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by ten brothers and sisters.

A celebration of life will be held at 6:00 PM on Wednesday February 1, 2017 in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Zane Bousum officiating. A private burial will be held at a later date in Ever-Rest Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visiting hours will be held from 3:00 pm until the time of the service on Wednesday.
