Christopher "Alan" Wallar, 32, of Rockfield, passed away Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at Indiana University Arnett Hospital in Lafayette.
Born April 4, 1982 in Crawfordsville, Indiana, he was the son of Charles F. and Jamie J. (Hensel) Wallar. On July 16, 2005 in Logansport, he married Amber N. Cooksey who survives.
Alan was employed by Hoosier Havestore of Delphi. He enjoyed camping, four wheeling, fishing at the river bottom, and spending time with his family and friends.
Surviving along with his wife Amber are four children, Ethan Cooksey, Alaynah Cooksey, Isabel Wallar and Analeah Wallar; his parents, Charlie and Jamie Wallar, Burrows; two sisters, Carrie (Christopher) Arnold, Avon; Robin (Brian) Jones, Camden; three brothers, Charles Clayton Wallar, Burrows; Michael Wallar, Delphi; Brian (Heidi) Wallar, Lafayette; several aunts, uncles, several cousins and uncle Jim.
A celebration of life will be held at 5:00 PM Saturday, August 30, 2014 in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Josh Bault officiating.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 - 5:00 PM on Saturday, also in the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the family to help with expenses.
