Cinda Lou Harness

Cinda Lou Harness, age 68, of Lucerne, passed away Saturday January 18, 2025, in her residence.

She was born on July 18, 1956, in Logansport, IN to the late Leroy E. and Willidean E. (Cumberland) Moss. On October 19, 1975, in Metea, IN she married James Mark Harness who survives. 

Cinda retired from Logansport Municipal Utilities working in accounts payable. She had also formerly worked at Gregg Rudd Oldsmobile Cadilac, W & W Truck Sales and Weirs Truck Sales. Cinda was a 1974 graduate of Caston High School, was a special friend to many and enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s sporting events.

Other survivors, including her husband Jim, are two sons, Blake (Charlotte) Harness, Twelve Mile, IN; Whitney (Katie) Harness, Cleveland, TN; two brothers, Rick (Sherri) Moss, Zephyrhills, FL; Tym Moss, New York City, NY; four granddaughters, Bailey Harness, Emma Harness, Olivia Harness and Willa Harness; two grandsons, Carson Harness and George W. Harness; five nieces, Jill Moss, Courtney Moss, Amy Covanes, Jessie Gearhart and Jenny Wood; several great nieces and nephews.

Cinda was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Mark J. Harness, sister-in-law, Lynne Moss, one nephew, Aaron Nicoll

A celebration of life will be held at 6:00 pm Wednesday January 22, 2025, at Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Spencer officiating.

A visitation will be held from 3:00 pm until the time of services on Wednesday in the funeral home.
