Memorial services for Clarence R. Weaver, 80, Royal Center, with full military rites, will be at 8 p.m. Wednesday in Gundrum Funeral Home.
He died at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 16, 2009, in Life Care Center of Rochester in Rochester.
Born March 1, 1929, in Cass County, he was the son of Raymond A. and Ida M. Rowley Weaver. He was married May 4, 1957, in Lake Cicott, to Cathy P. McKenzie, who survives.
He retired from Rockwell International and was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 3790 and a member of the American Legion Post 60. Clarence was a Korean Army Veteran. He loved to fish and spend time with his family.
Also surviving are sons, Randy Weaver, Logansport, and Rick Weaver and wife, Janet, Royal Center; son-in-law, Neil Patterson, Lucerne; brother, Paul Weaver and wife, Bonnie, Royal Center; sisters, Mildred Wiles, Royal Center, Marjorie Brewer and husband, Raymond, and Katheryn Watson, all of Logansport, and Linda Brown and husband, Roy, Lake Cicott; five grandchildren, Shane Weaver, Kerry Weaver, Bryce Weaver, Carson Weaver and Sydney Weaver; and one great-grandchild, Drew Stevens.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Lori Patterson; and one sister, Lucy Weaver.
The Rev. Howard Wade will officiate. Burial will be in Davis Cemetery in Burnettsville.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the VFW or American Legion in Logansport.
