Services for Cleedith I. Piercy, 90, Logansport, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Gundrum Funeral Home.

She died at 10:30 p.m. Saturday, June 14, 2008, in Logansport Memorial Hospital.

Born Dec. 12, 1917, in Metcalfe County, Ky., she was the daughter of Ezra and Evie Hagan Harlan. She was married Oct. 3, 1940, in Celina, Tenn., to Roy M. Piercy, who preceded in death Dec. 4, 1986.

She retired in May 1987 after 15 years with David’s Hardware and attended Shiloh Christian Church.

Surviving are one son, Gaylon Piercy and wife, Sandra, Shelbyville; sister, Geneva Propes, Logansport; two grandsons; and five great-grandsons.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Cortez, Kenneth and Beecham Harlan, and one daughter, Janice Cox.

Pastor Linda Frishe-Mouri will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army for Indiana flood victims.
