Clive Beck

Services for Clive Hyman Beck, 92, Logansport, formerly of Deer Creek/Camden, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Gundrum Funeral Home.

He died at 11:15 p.m. Tuesday, March 13, 2007, in Logansport Memorial Hospital.

Born June 8, 1914, in Cass County, he was the son of Cyril Wayne and Neva Marie Hyman Beck. He was married Feb. 10, 1938, in Pyrmont, to Ruth Annetta Ulbrich, who preceded in death March 15, 2003.

Clive retired from the Logansport State Hospital in 1980 after 22 years.

He was a member of the Milk Bottle Collectors Association, Burlington Masonic Lodge #111, F & AM, Fort Wayne Scottish Rite and Knights of Pythius.

Surviving are three daughters, Nan Jones and husband, Larry, and Bonnie Richter, all of Logansport, and Judy Wheeler and husband, Tom, Olmstead, Ohio; one son, Wayne C. Beck and wife, Sally, Greenfield; two sisters, Jane Israel and Jeanne Gardner, both of Logansport; grandchildren, Kenneth Jones, Logansport, Marvin Jones and wife, Traci, Walton, Shirley Jones, Logansport, Beth Canen and husband, Tim, Camden, Beverly Bowen and husband, Mike, Marion, Ben Beck and wife, Sarah, Greenfield, and Burt Beck, Indianapolis; stepgrandchildren, Susan Wheeler and David Wheeler, both of Indianapolis; and eight great-grandchildren.

Two sisters preceded in death.

Burial will be in Center Cemetery, Young America.

Friends may call from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home, where Masonic services will be held at 4:30 p.m.
