Connie Jones

Connie Jones, 95, of Logansport passed away Thursday, August 1, 2013 in Memorial Hospital, Logansport.

Born February 8, 1918 in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late James C. and Dorothy (Martin) Justice. On March 5, 1939 in Logansport, she married Harry Earl Jones Sr. who preceded in death on March 26, 1994.

Connie was a homemaker. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Psi Iota Xi Sorority, and the Gray Lady volunteers at Memorial Hospital. Connie was a former board member and past President of the Neal Home, Cass County Children's Home, and Logansport PTA. She was also a former volunteer for the Red Cross.

Surviving is one son, Harry Earl(Margaret) Jones Jr., Fort Wayne; two daughters, Pam (William) Nemecek, Charlotte, NC; Kathleen (Jim) Bibby, Logansport; seven grandchildren, Heather (Jeremy) Gott, Columbus, OH; Kent (Elizabeth) Jones, Bloomington, MN; Paul Jones, Columbus, OH; Debby Nemecek, West Chester, PA; Jeff (Rachel) Nemecek, Charlotte,NC; Jim Bibby, Lafayette; John Bibby, Logansport; seven great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by six brothers and one sister.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Larry DeVos officiating.

Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of service on Tuesday in the Church.
