Connie Noel

Connie J. Noel, 67, Walton, died at 4:12 p.m. Thursday, June 28, 2012, at St. Joseph Hospital, Kokomo.

Born Jan. 28, 1945, in Logansport, she was the daughter of Lynn Dillman and Lena Helms. She was married March 12, 1967, in Twelve Mile, to Rex P. Noel.

Connie was a homemaker and foster mother through White’s.

A 1961 graduate of Logansport High School, she was a member of Lighthouse Ministries. Connie loved cooking, God, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Surviving are her husband, Rex P. Noel, Walton; daughters, Deborah Enser and husband, Mike, Wabash, and Kim Mettler and husband, Mark, Twelve Mile; son, David Noel and wife, Cami, Walton; grandchildren, Cayla Enser, Wabash, Elizabeth Mettler, Twelve Mile, Jacob Mettler, Twelve Mile, Sheere Enser, Wabash, and Abigail Mettler, Twelve Mile; sister, Phyllis McCloskey and husband, Eddie, Kokomo; brothers, Ned Dillman and wife, Rita, Kokomo, Fred Dillman and wife, Anita, Logansport, and Jim Dillman and wife, Sandy, Fort Myers, Fla.; several nieces and nephews; and several foster children over the past 30 years.

She was preceded in death by one grandson, Kaleb Enser.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor David Noel officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Mexico.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
