Daniel Owen Hite, 30 of Flora passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2018 in his residence.
Born on August 11, 1988 in Logansport, he is the son to Curtis Hite and Debra (Gaby) Auten. Daniel worked for Subaru of Indiana as a welder.
When Daniel wasn’t riding his BMX bikes, he enjoyed playing guitar and drums, but the most important thing to him was spending time with his fiancé Brandi Vail and three children, Swayzee, Rhylie and Marshall Hite who were tragically taken from this earth as a result of a house fire on November 28, 2018.
Surviving Daniel along with his mother, Debra (Carl) Auten, Walton; and his father, Curtis (Lisa) Hite, Flora, IN; is a daughter Mikaela Sanchez, Logansport; sisters, Kari Parmeter and fiancé Dakota, Carmel, IN; Taylor Hite, Kokomo; brother, Brock Hite, Reno, NV; step sisters, Cheryl (Jeremy) Lobenthal, New Waverly, IN; Suze Cloud, Peru, IN; step brothers, Carl (Sami) Auten Jr. and Zach (Savannah) Auten, both of Walton, IN; very special maternal grandmother, Doris Gaby, Logansport; maternal grandfather, Howard Daniel (Barb) Gaby, Akron, IN; aunts, Lisa (Shayne) Nixon, Logansport; Bev (Verlin) Ramsey; Sherri (Bill) Ramsey, both of Akron, IN; uncle, Ron (Kris) Hite, Indianapolis; several nieces and nephews.
Daniel was preceded in death by his fiancé, Brandi Vail, three children, Swayzee, Rhylie and Marshall Hite; paternal grandparents, Owen and Marilyn Hite; and an uncle, Roger Hite.
The funeral services for Daniel Hite, Brandi Vail, Swayzee Hite, Rhylie Hite, Marshall Hite, Joseph Huddleston and KaDee Huddleston, will be held together at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, December 6, 2018 at LifeGate Church, 831 Burlington Avenue, Logansport.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. to 7 p.m. at LifeGate Church, 831 Burlington Avenue, Logansport. Visitation will also be from 9:30 to 11:00 on Thursday, prior to the service.
A fund has been set up at Security Federal under the name of “Hite Children Fire Fund” if any donations would like to be made. All proceeds will be used to create a trust fund to benefit Daniels surviving daughter Mikaela.
