Services for Darlene McGuire, 55, Logansport, will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Gundrum Funeral Home.

She died 7:48 a.m. Tuesday, May 5, 2009, in St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis.

Born Sept. 19, 1953, in New Bern, N.C., she was the daughter of Adrian R. Gatlin and Yetta Dubin.

She was a homemaker and was a member of Eagles Lodge 323 Auxiliary.

Surviving are son, Michael McGuire Jr., Logansport; sister, Delores McNeely and husband, Gary, Morganton, N.C., Gail Seamester and husband, Alfred, New Bern, N.C., Simone Gatlin, Arizona, Cindy Gatlin, West Palm Beach, Fla., and Denice Pantano and Mike, Chicago; brother, Richard Gatlin, Austin, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one brother.

Dr. Horace Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Ever-Rest Memorial Park.

Friends may call two hours before services Friday at the funeral home.
