Deloris Sherman

Deloris R. Sherman, 78, of Logansport passed away Monday, January 7, 2013 at 8:25 AM in Logansport Memorial Hospital.

Born September 8, 1934 in Carroll County, Indiana, Deloris was the daughter of the late John and Hulda Bingaman Arion. On September 28, 1952 in Royal Center, Indiana Deloris married Dwight Sherman who survives.

Mrs. Sherman retired from General Tire after 42 years of service.

Deloris was a 1952 graduate of Royal Center High School, she was a member of New Life Alliance Church in Logansport. Deloris enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family.

Surviving along with her husband is one son, John Michael (Desiree) Sherman of Eugene, OR; two daughters, Pamela (David) Snyder of Russiaville, and Stephanie M. (Jason) Gladney of Valparaiso; 10 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Eva Lorena Mockerman and Marjorie Pownall.

Services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, January 10, 2013 in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Fred Drye officiating. Burial will be in Ever-Rest Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 PM on Wednesday also in the Funeral Home.
