Dennis Maloy

Dennis J. Maloy, age 66, of Fort Wayne, IN, passed away Saturday January 23, 2021 at Visiting Nurse Hospice of Fort Wayne.

Born April 29, 1954 in Logansport, IN to the late Jack and Virginia (Rudolph) Maloy.

Dennis retired in 2016 after 43 years with Rockwell International /Matthew Warren. He was a proud Union member of United Steel Workers Union Local #3261. Dennis was a former Football coach at Columbia Middle School. He enjoyed fishing, motorcycle rides, mushroom hunting, and attending NASCAR races. Dennis was a 1973 graduate of Logansport High School.

Survivors include his Fiancé, Elizabeth Thelen, Fort Wayne, IN; two sons, Ty (Michelle) Maloy, and grandson Ayden, Wabash, IN; Devin (Sarah) Maloy, Fort Wayne, IN; Brother, Stan (Karen) Maloy, Lucerne, IN; sister, Patty (Mark) Gaylor, Camden. IN; sister-in-law, Melinda (Terry) Fry, Logansport, IN; Aunt, Gail Maloy, Logansport, IN; several nieces, and nephews.

Dennis was preceded in death by two brothers, John R. & Michael J. Maloy

Per Dennis’s request there will be no formal services but a family gathering will be held at a later date.
