Dick Kelley

Dick Kelley, 76, of Logansport, passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2018 in his residence.

Born on September 8, 1941 in Logansport, he was the son to the late Oscar and Vera (Myers) Kelley. In June of 1963, he married Sandra K. Hershberger who preceded in death in 2001. Dick retired from S.U.S. Diecasting, he had also worked 25 years at R.B.M/Essex.

Dick was a thrifty guy, he was always on the hunt for the best deal and would rarely give up until it was given to him. Most recently he was able to strong arm Comcast into reducing his bill, and he couldn’t have been happier.

Surviving him is his companion, Karen DeLawter; daughter, Jonie (Russ) Colvin; son, Brian (Jesica) Kelley; sister, Karen (Bill) Swanson, all of Logansport; four grandchildren, Kace Colvin, Megan (Tom) Glassburn, Bailey Kelley and Jake Kelley; a great granddaughter, Madalyn Colvin.

He was preceded in death by a son, Brad Kelley, one brother and three sisters.

A casual gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, April 7, 2018 from Noon until 2:30 PM at the Logansport Elks Lodge, 1100 North Third Street in Logansport.
