Dickie Middleton Sr.

Dickie Middleton Sr., 81, of Twelve Mile, passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2019 in his residence.

Born on September 19, 1937 in Yancey, Kentucky, he was the son to the late Thomas and Alice (Osborn) Middleton. On March 12, 1954 in Jonesville, Virginia, he married Teddy L. Noe who survives.

Dickie worked for Deichman Excavating and was a member of the Laborers Union #274. He was an avid raccoon hunter, loved working outside especially in his garden.

Surviving along with his wife Teddy, are four sons, Dick (Rita) Middleton Jr., Bucyrus, OH; Mose (Debb) Middleton, Lucerne; Jerry (Geraldine) Middleton, Denver; Bobby G. Middleton, Twelve Mile; daughter, Mona (Harold) Lambert, Nevada, OH; two sisters, Lissie (Charles) McGuire, Nicholasville, KY; Myrtle Dean, Barbourville, KY; six grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

Dickie’s funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, March 8, 2019 at Gundrum Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Dean Snyder officiating. Burial will follow at Metea Baptist Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 – 7:00 PM Thursday, March 7, 2019 also at the Gundrum Funeral Home.
