Dorothy Ann Gerhart

Dorothy Ann Gerhart, age 91, of Logansport, passed away Monday March 10, 2025, in Chase Center of Logansport.

Born June 18, 1933, in Battle Ground, IN to the late Theodore and Marie (Gibson) Fisher. On May 2, 1953, in Battle Ground, IN she married Robert V. Gerhart who preceded in death June 13, 2013.

Dorothy was a homemaker and a member of the Church of The Good Shephard. She was an avid Cubs fan and diehard Purdue fan. She loved her home on 19th street and everyone noticed her manicured lawn, clean sidewalks and pink flowers on the front porch.

Survivors include two sons, Michael (Andrea) Gerhart, North Judson, IN; Terry (Amanda) Gerhart, Naples, FL; one daughter, Shanna (Gerald) Flora, Logansport, IN; one sister, Connie (Jack) Hawk, Lafayette, IN; nine grandchildren, Wendy (Dave) Barrett, Kimmy (Ben) Wachtel, Michelle Peretti, Charlie Gerhart, Sam Gerhart, Kylie (Dustin) Cotner, Kristie (Wesley) Cable, Austin Monroe and Maddie Odle ; ten great grandchildren.

Dorothy was preceded in death by three sisters, Helen Lewis, Jackie Oilar and Mary Alice Howarth.

Per Dorothy’s request there will be private graveside services held for the family at a later date in Battle Ground Cemetery with Pastor Michael Goodspeed officiating.
