Dorothy Miles

— Services for Dorothy Miles, 81, Logansport, are 1 p.m. Monday in Gundrum Funeral Home.
She died at 6:17 p.m. Thursday, April 30, 2009, in Seton Specialty Hospital, Lafayette.
Born Aug. 14, 1927, in St. Charles, Va., she was the daughter of Lloyd Miles and Nora Poteet.
Dorothy retired from Modine Manufacturing Co. and she had also worked at New Beginnings Day Care.
She attended Calvary Union Church. Dorothy enjoyed jigsaw and crossword puzzles and also spending times with her family.
Survivors include sisters, Jeannette Gust and husband, Earl, Logansport, Dinah Day, Ocala, Fla., and Lorene Ehle and husband, Jack, St. Paul; brothers, Jimmy Miles and wife, Della, Niceville, Fla., and Bruce Miles, Logansport; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and nephews.
Three sisters and one brother preceded in death.
Pastor Mike Stow will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Logansport.
Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. today in the funeral home.
