Dorris Ballachino

Dorris Helen Ballachino, 71, Logansport, died at 10 p.m. Monday, Feb. 12, 2007, in her residence.

Born Oct. 29, 1935, in Batavia, Ohio, she was the daughter of Fred and Dorris Bunker Dansberry. She was married Oct. 30, 1954, in Cincinnati, to Thomas Ballachino, who preceded in death June 16, 1974.

She was a member of Whirl Wind Ministries Church, Burrows, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary Post #3790 in Logansport.

Surviving are two sons, Thomas Ballachino Jr., Nashville, Tenn., and John Ballachino and his wife, Ruth, Neustat, West Germany; one brother, Joseph Dansberry and his wife, Ruth, Cincinnati; two sisters, Jean Danner and her husband, Bud, Batavia, Ohio, and Ann McKesson, Mount Carmel, Ohio; one grandchild, David Ballachino, Neustat, West Germany; cousin, Glenn Ogle, Logansport; and several nieces and nephews.

One sister preceded in death.

There will be no services or visitation.

Burial will be in Mount Moriah Cemetery, Withamsville, Ohio.

Gundrum Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
