Services for Dudley L. Walters, 67, Logansport, will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Gundrum Funeral Home.
He died at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, 2007, in the IU Medical Center, Indianapolis.
Born May 5, 1940, in Logansport, he was the son of Russell D. and Marie A. Taylor Walters. He was married July 12, 1956, in Logansport, to Mary Ellen Kistler, who preceded in death Aug. 8, 2006.
Dudley retired from Elco Textron in 2002 after 37 years of service.
He loved animals and enjoyed working on and collecting cars. He enjoyed building, remodeling and renovating projects.
Surviving are daughter, Denise Walters and fiancée, John Kobe, Twelve Mile; sons, Rusty Walters and wife, Cindy, and Maverick Walters and fiancée, Deb Walker, all of Logansport; daughter-in-law, Jaunice Walters, Logansport; sisters, Etta Putnam and husband, Don, Macy, Elsie Collins and husband, Avery, Bowie, Texas, and Shirley Modrow, Paducah, Ky.; grandchildren, Michael Walters, Twelve Mile, Cassie Walters, Indianapolis, and Natasha Walters, Logansport.
One son, Cris Allen Walters, preceded in death.
Pastor Scott Ellison will officiate. Burial will be in Pisgah Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home.
