Services for Edna Mae Ryan, 83, Logansport, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in Gundrum Funeral Home.
She died at 6:29 a.m. Friday, June 1, 2007, in Logansport Memorial Hospital.
Born Aug. 24, 1923, in Point Marion, Pa., she was the daughter of Theodore Calvin Stamper and Elizabeth Mae Ferree. She was married Jan. 3, 1946, in San Francisco, Calif., to Asa F. Ryan, who preceded in death May 14, 1996.
Edna was a former seamstress for Corsoâs Pearless Cleaners and J.C. Penney Co. She also had worked at the Logansport State Hospital.
She was a 50-plus-year member of the Order of Eastern Star.
Surviving are two sons, Richard Ryan and his wife, Anita, Wheatland, and David Ryan, Logansport; one sister-in-law, Helen Stamper, Palmer, Alaska; six grandchildren, Dawn Angermeier, Evansville, Christina Ryan, Monroe City, Angelica DeGrasse, Ramsey, Glenda Capozella, Otwell, Andrea Ryan, Logansport, and Jamie Patterson, Embarrass, Minn.; eight great-grandsons; two great-granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews.
One brother, Clyde Stamper, preceded in death.
The Rev. Howard Capps will officiate at the service. Burial will be in St. Johnâs Cemetery.
Friends may call one hour before the time of services Monday in the funeral home.
