Edward Locke

Edward Lynn Locke, age 85, of Logansport, passed away Thursday Feb. 9, 2017 at 1:26 AM in Chase Center Nursing Home, Logansport.

Born September 27, 1931 in Lawrenceburg, TN to the late Thomas C. and Pearl (Burkett) Locke. On June 13, 1954 in Kosciusko, Mississippi he married the love of his life Elizabeth Ann McCune who survives.

Ed retired in 2014 as the minister and leader of Landmark Baptist Church where he has served since 1973. Ed was very proud of the fact he has been married to his loving wife for sixty two years and they have shared so much together. Ed was always ready to spread the word and was such a devoted minister. He was always gracious and made friends easily which helped him share God’s word.

Two uncles have preceded Ed in death

A celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Alexander officiating.  A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until time of services Saturday.

A private burial will be held at Mimosa Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN

Memorials may be made to the Landmark Baptist Church.
