Eldon E. ‘Sug’ Boose

Services for Eldon E. “Sug” Boose, 91, Logansport, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Gundrum Funeral Home.

He died at 3:40 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, 2007, in Miller’s Merry Manor.

Born May 18, 1916, in Royal Center, he was the son of Elonzo and Elsie Hart Boose. He was married June 24, 1939, in Royal Center, to Lucile M. Smith, who preceded in death Feb. 2, 1996.

He retired in 1979 after 38 years with Conrail Railroad.

He was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church.

Surviving are daughter, Patricia A. Brugh, Logansport; son, Eldon R. Boose and wife, Colleen, Hager City, Wis.; three grandsons, Dale Brugh, Lewis Center, Ohio, Darren Brugh and wife, D’Ann, Logansport, and Travis Volk, Minneapolis, Minn.; one granddaughter, Darcie Parfenchuck and husband, Jeff, Tucson, Ariz.; two great-grandsons; and a special friend, Maxine Eikelburner, Logansport.

Five sisters and one brother preceded in death.

The Rev. Keith Schreffler will officiate. Burial will be in Royal Center Cemetery, Royal Center.

Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
