Eleanor "Kay" Rush

Eleanor “Kay” Rush, 77, of Logansport passed away Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Kokomo Healthcare Center in Kokomo.

Born on July 2, 1941 in Logansport, she was the daughter to the late David W. and Anna (Skelton) Roller.  She was married to the late Carl D. “Deane” Rush. Eleanor worked in the bakery at the Third Street Marsh in Logansport.

Eleanor was a member of the Logansport Church of Christ. She enjoyed playing cards, fishing, taking a trip to the casino and playing BINGO.

Survivors include daughter, Patty E. (Alan) Claxton of Walton, IN; son, Brian D. (Sally) Rush of Forest, IN; two granddaughters, Michelle (Ben) Bonsett of Lafayette, IN, Amanda (Michael) Casteel of Frankfort, IN; grandson, Matthew Rush of Logansport, IN;  14 Great Grandchildren; two sisters, Barbara Vester of Westfield, IN, Linda L. Gabel of Logansport, IN; brother, James Roller of Kokomo, IN;

Preceded in death by father, David W. Roller, mother, Anna S. Roller, three sisters, Carol A. Drummond, Irma Depoy, Rhea Weaver,  two brothers, Glenn Roller, Tommy Roller, husband, Carl Deane Rush.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Strite Officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Logansport.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of service on Tuesday.
