Services for Ellen L. Rammel, 91, Logansport, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Gundrum Funeral Home.
She died at 11:15 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2009, in Logansport Memorial Hospital.
Born Dec. 16, 1917, in Kokomo, she was the daughter of Otto J. and Flossie V. Prescott Rehm. She was married June 17, 1939, in Trafalgar, to Rudolph Rammel, who preceded in death March 28, 1989.
Ellen retired in 1980 as a corporate secretary for First Federal Savings and Loan Association, now Security Federal Savings Bank.
She was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church for over 60 years. Ellen was a 1935 graduate of Logansport High School and also a graduate of Logansport Business College.
Surviving are sister, Frances Miller, Logansport; nieces, Bonnie Cory and husband, Karl, and Marsha Miller Scott, all of Logansport, and Jill Scheetz Williams and Jody Scheetz Conover, both of Indianapolis; nephew, Tom Scheetz and wife, Jodene, Logansport; eight great-nieces and great-nephews; and seven great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Cathryn Scheetz, and a brother-in-law, Joe Scheetz.
Pastor Tom DeFries will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
